Shopping

I drive to the mall like a mad woman, even though I’m only a teen. By the time I get there, Taylor and Gina were outside by the entrance. I get out of my car and walk, quickly, towards them.

“I figured you’d come.” Taylor said.

“I-I wouldn’t miss prom dress shopping for the world.” I tell them.

As we turn and walk inside the mall, Gina whispered to me, “I knew you came by for the Matthews boys.”

To be honest, I should be scared but I wasn’t. I guess the fact that someone else, preferably someone I trust, knew the truth wasn’t so bad. We make a quick stop at the food court. Happily, they had a McDonald’s there.

“Hello. What would you like today?” said the cashier.

“Hey. Umm, can I get 3 cheeseburgers and 3 chocolate milkshakes?” I tell the cashier.

“Two chocolate, Chanel. I would like a vanilla shake please,” Gina said with a slick smile.

“Alright. Three cheeseburgers, a vanilla shake, and 2 chocolate shakes coming right up.” he said.

“Thank you,” I say with a real smile.

We go and find a seat when the weirdest thing caught my eye. It wasn’t real. It couldn’t be real. My eyes are playing tricks on me, right?

“Chanel, Gina, look! It’s the twins!” Taylor squealed.

No doubt, it was real. A real shame considering I thought they were joking about them actually being there. What were the odds?

“Ha. Nelly, its them.” Gina told me with a hint of slyness in her voice.

“Uh-huh. It surely is them. Blood, flesh, and veins.” I tell her.

“Tomorrow night. We so have to go see that movie.”

“Have I mentioned that you are a bit freaky Gina?”

“Yeah, a lot Nelly.”

“Ok.”

We finally find a table in the McDonald’s food court when they come walking towards us.

“Are they stalkers?” I whisper to Gina.

And I guess I realized that I need to update on my whispering skills cause at that very moment, I heard one of the twins say, “No, we aren’t.”
